Data on inputs and outputs of the food processing industry is modelled using: Data for this species is based on data for tilapia aquaculture because it is currently fished to its carrying capacity and wild catch cannot be increased. Therefore, an increasing demand affects the marginal freshwater fish source, the aquaculture of tilapia. Tilapia feed data are obtained from FAO (2020e). Data on electricity for aquaculture are obtained from Pelletier and Tyedmers (2010).
